Kilburn resident delighted to win tablet for participating in Brent’s information gathering drive
Brent Housing resident, Joselte Peniakoff-Warner from the Kilburn area, won an Amazon Fire tablet as part of a competition prize draw launched by Brent Housing in the summer.
The competition was designed to thank residents for sharing their updated information with Brent Housing Management. Having accurate information means we can provide a better service and keep our residents safe.
The updated information will go onto our new system, which includes a new digital app that we’ll be launching soon. In future, it will be easier for residents to contact us about repairs, cleaning and other housing services.
The tragic Grenfell fire in June 2017 highlighted the importance of having correct information about who is living in homes managed by the council or registered social landlords and the help they might need in an emergency.
The Amazon Fire tablet prize, donated by Wates Living Space, was presented by Councillor Eleanor Southwood, Lead Member for Housing and Welfare Reform. Councillor Southwood said: “I was really pleased to present Ms Peniakoff-Warner with her prize. It’s very understandable to feel nervous about sharing your personal information. This piece of work is so important for improving our services and keeping residents safe so please do update your information as soon as you can.”
